Rain on the delivery van: a flower shop website that sells while you arrange

WeVibeSitesUpdated
WeVibeSites.ca cover for the Florist starter: a flower beside the post title.

Your hands are wet and green. There are buckets of tulips on the floor, and the delivery van is out in the drizzle. The shop phone rings. Then it rings again. Each call is someone who wants flowers for a birthday, a new baby or a funeral, and each one takes a while to write down.

What if some of those orders could come in already written down, already paid, with the name spelled right?

That is what our Florist starter is for.

A shop that is open all night

The Florist starter is a full website made for flower shops. It is soft, simple and made for phones. People order flowers from the bus, at lunch, and late at night.

With a Launch, the starter can include an online store. We list your bouquets, plants and add-ons, with your photos and your prices. People pick what they want and pay into your own Stripe, PayPal or Square account. We never hold your money.

You can see one look it can have on our demo, Lily & Bloom. Lily & Bloom is a made-up shop we run as a demo. Some tools on it are not part of a Launch. Your Launch list says what is.

Everything we set up with you

The starter code is free and open. Anyone can copy it for $0. A Launch is when one of our people builds it with you.

A Launch is $2,500 CAD plus GST, paid once. You get two hours on a live call. If you want each one, we set it up and test it with you:

  • The store. Your products listed, and paid into your own account.
  • Booking. We connect your Google or Microsoft calendar. We add your visit types, like a wedding consult, and your hours. Then we make one real test booking.
  • A client portal. Clients sign in with a code we email them. Couples and event planners see their bookings, invoices, quotes and files.
  • One contact list. Every form, booking and order becomes a contact. We bring in the list you have now.

A chat box is there if you want it. It only answers from facts you approve, like your delivery area or how late you take same-day orders.

We also give you a tour of your own admin. You will know where each order and message lands.

The site moves with the seasons

Flowers are seasonal, and so is your shop. Tulips in spring. Peonies in June. Dahlias from the valley farms in late summer. Wreaths when the dark sets in.

After Launch, you change your site by telling it what you want. Type it in plain English, like a text. "Add a peony bouquet for the next two weeks only." Or "stop same-day delivery on the Saturday before Mother's Day." The site makes the change. This is called vibe coding. On the call, you make one real change this way while we help.

For small fixes, we teach you the visual editor. Tap a price or a photo, and swap it where it sits.

What it costs to keep

Your site runs in your own Replit account. We charge $0 a month. Your host bills about $20 US a month for use. That is the host's bill, in US dollars. Our prices are in Canadian dollars. Our hosting is $19 CAD plus GST a month if you would rather. You can get a domain through us at the registry price plus $8 a year. You own the code, and you can leave any time with a full copy.

We are a Vancouver company, and we know a coast florist's year: rain, a few sunny weeks, then rain again.
