A grocery or market website you can update before the doors open

WeVibeSitesUpdated
WeVibeSites.ca cover for the Grocery and market starter: a shopping basket beside the post title.

It is seven in the morning. The bread just came in. The farm down the road dropped off a crate of apples. The fish truck is late again because of the ferry.

Your shop knows what is fresh today. Your website still says it is summer.

That gap is what our Grocery & Market starter is for. It is a site you can keep as fresh as your shelves, without waiting on anyone.

What your shoppers see

The starter is a full website for grocers, corner stores, farm markets and food co-ops. It has a page for each part of your shop, like produce, the deli, the bakery or bulk. It has a spot on the front page for today's specials. It has your hours, your address and where to park.

It also has room to tell the story of the people you buy from. The farmer up the valley. The baker in town. You give us their names and their words, and they go up only with their say-so.

You can see one look it can have on our demo, NVC Market & Supply Co. It is a made-up shop we run as a demo. Some things on the demo, like a loyalty section, are shown there but are not included unless they are on your Launch list.

A store, if you want one

The starter code is free. Anyone can clone it for $0. A Launch is when we set it up with you, live, and test it.

A Launch is $2,500 CAD, plus GST, paid once. You get two hours with one of our people. If you want them, we set up and test each of these:

  • An online store. We list your products. Shoppers order and pay online. The money goes into your own Stripe, PayPal or Square account. We never hold your money.
  • Booking. Do you run tastings, classes or a cooking night? We connect your Google or Microsoft calendar, set your times, and make one real test booking.
  • A customer portal. Shoppers sign in with a code we email them. They can see their orders and bookings.
  • One contact list. Every order, booking and form becomes a contact. We bring in the list you have now.

Not ready to sell online? Leave the store off. The rest still works.

Change it with your apron on

Here is the part that fits a busy shop. After Launch, you change the site by telling it what you want, in plain English, like a text message.

Type "put fresh spot prawns at the top of today's specials." Or "we close at four on the holiday Monday, add that to the hours." A new vendor joins? Type "add a vendor spot for the goat cheese farm, with this photo." That way of building is called vibe coding. On the call, you make one real change like this with us right there.

We also teach you the visual editor. You click on a price or a word and change it where it sits. It is quick for small things.

It belongs to you

Your site runs in your own Replit account. We charge $0 a month. Your host bills about $20 US a month for use. That is the host's bill, in US dollars. Our prices are in Canadian dollars. You can have us host it for $19 CAD plus GST a month if you would rather. You own the code, and you can leave any time with a full copy.

We walk you through your own admin, so you can see each order and message. Your shop name, logo and colours go up. It works on a phone, which is where shoppers check your hours on the way over.
