A website for a small Gulf Islands inn, where guests book before they board
Nobody ends up on a Gulf Island by accident. Your guests plan it. They check the ferry times, book a sailing, and sort out the dog. Somewhere in that planning, they look for a place to stay.
They find your inn. They want to see the rooms. They want to know if there is a view, if breakfast is included, and how far you are from the ferry dock. Then they want to book, right then, while they still have the sailing open in the other tab.
If your site makes them email and wait, the plan stalls. Our Hotel & Boutique Inn starter is built so it does not.
Rooms, rates and the real details
The starter is a full website made for small hotels, inns and B&Bs. It is calm, warm and easy to use on a phone.
- Room pages. Each room you have, with your photos and the details you give us. Facts about access, like stairs or a step-free entry, are kept clear and plain.
- Rates you publish. We show the prices you set. No fake "only one room left" banners.
- Packages. Storm watching, a long weekend, an anniversary stay, whatever you really offer.
- A local guide. Your own picks for walks, farm stands and places to eat, in your words.
You can see one look it can have on our demo, The Wren House. The Wren House is a made-up hotel we run as a demo. Some tools on it are not part of a Launch. Your Launch list says what is.
What we build with you
The starter code is free and open. Anyone can copy it for $0. A Launch is when one of our people builds it with you.
A Launch costs $2,500 CAD plus GST, paid once. It includes two hours on a live call. If you want each one, we set it up and test it with you:
- Direct booking. We connect your Google or Microsoft calendar. We add your booking types and your check-in hours. Then we make one real test booking.
- Payments. Deposits and balances go into your own Stripe, PayPal or Square account. We never hold your money.
- A guest portal. Guests sign in with a code we email them. They see their bookings, invoices, quotes and files. Wedding parties can find their quote in one place.
- One contact list. Every form, booking and payment becomes a contact. We bring in your past guest list.
A chat box is there if you want it. It only answers from facts you approve, like check-in time, whether pets are welcome, or which ferry to aim for.
We also give you a tour of your own admin, so you know where every booking and message lands.
Keep it current from the front desk
Island seasons are real. Summer is full. The shoulder months are quiet. Winter brings wind, rain and the people who love it. Your site should say what is true this month, without a call to a web person.
After Launch, you change it by telling it what you want. Type it in plain English, like a text. "Add a winter storm-watching package with soup on arrival." Or "we are closed for repairs the first two weeks of January." The site makes the change. This is called vibe coding. On the call, you make one real change this way, with us beside you.
For small edits, we teach you the visual editor. Tap a photo or a line of text and change it right there.
It is your inn, and your site
Your site runs in your own Replit account. We charge $0 a month. Your host bills about $20 US a month for use. That is the host's bill, in US dollars. Our prices are in Canadian dollars. Our hosting is $19 CAD plus GST a month, if you prefer. You own the code, and you can leave any time with a full copy.
We are a Vancouver company. We know the ferries your guests ride, and how much planning goes into a good island stay.
