Lily & Bloom: a demo flower shop, read by a florist on the coast

It is Thursday in June. A bride on the Sunshine Coast is still choosing her flowers. Her mother wants to send a bouquet to an aunt across the water. A couple in Comox wants a table piece for Saturday. All three are looking at flower shops on their phones, late in the evening, after the shop is closed.
A good florist site meets each of them there. Here is a demo that shows how one might look.
Lily & Bloom is made up
Lily & Bloom is a made-up flower shop. It is not a real business, and it is not a client. We run it as a demo of our Florist starter. It sits on Main Street in New Vibe City, a made-up city we use for all our demos.
Anything shown on the demo is not included unless it is on your Launch list. Below, we say what a Launch does include.
What the demo shows
Visit Lily & Bloom. The menu is short: Shop, Weddings, Arrangements, Window, Journal, About. There is a clear Order Flowers button. The hours sit right there on the page, including the day the shop is closed.
The wedding part is its own space, apart from the everyday shop. That matters. A bride is not shopping like someone who needs a birthday bunch by noon. She wants to talk, look at ideas, and ask questions.
Shown on the demo, but not included unless it is on your Launch list:
- A product catalog with a cart
- A bouquet idea tool that draws a bouquet from a few choices
- Digital bouquet cards to share
- A checkout with steps for delivery
- Wedding packages with a request form
- A window display archive
- A journal blog
What a Launch sets up for a florist
A florist is one of the shops where an online store fits well. So a Launch can include one, if you want it.
A Launch is $2,500 CAD plus GST, paid once. You get two hours, live, with one of our people. If you want them, we set up and test each of these with you:
- An online store. We list your products. Orders are paid into your own Stripe, PayPal or Square account. We test it with one real order.
- Online booking. We connect your Google or Microsoft calendar and add your hours. A couple can book a wedding chat at a time you have open. We make one real test booking.
- Online payments. Wedding deposits and invoices go into your own account too. We never hold your money.
- A client portal. Clients sign in with a code we email them. A bride can see her booking, quotes, invoices and files in one place.
- One contact list. Every order, form and booking becomes a contact. We bring over the contacts you have now.
Your real shop name, people, logo and colours go on the site. Forms send each message to the inbox you name. And it works on a phone, which is where those late-night orders happen.
Seasons change, and so can your site
Flowers change by the week. Peonies come and go. Tulips arrive. The shop closes for a holiday.
After Launch, you change your site by telling it what you want, in plain English, like a text message. Type "add a note that we deliver to Gibsons on Fridays" or "add a page for winter wedding flowers." On the call, you make one real change this way, with us beside you.
We also teach you the visual editor. You click on a photo or a line of words and change it where it sits. It is the quick way to swap this week's bouquet photo.
Your site runs in your own Replit account. We charge $0 a month, and your host bills about $20 US a month for use. That is the host's bill, in US dollars. Our prices are in Canadian dollars. You own the code, and you can leave any time with a full copy.
