A fund website that tells founders how to reach you, and means it

WeVibeSitesUpdated
WeVibeSites.ca cover for the Venture capital starter: a rocket beside the post title.

A founder in a shared office in Vancouver has spent two years on her product. She has a short deck and a long list of funds. She opens your site to answer three questions. What do you back? Who do I talk to? How do I send this?

If your site says "we invest in great teams" and gives a general email, she moves on to the next fund. Not because you are wrong for her. Because she could not tell.

Say what you back, plainly

The Venture Capital & Investment starter is a full website for funds, angel groups and family offices. It puts your thesis up front, in the words you wrote. It shows the companies you really backed, with only the facts you give us. It has a page for each partner, with the real names and background you supply.

It also has a pitch form for founders. Each one goes to the inbox you name, so the right person sees it.

The site never makes up returns, deals or names. If it is not true and approved by you, it does not go up.

You can see one look the starter can have on our demo, NVC Ventures. NVC Ventures is a made-up fund we run as a demo. Some parts of the demo, like the form for people who want to invest in a fund, are shown there but are not included unless they are on your Launch list.

The Launch, in plain terms

The code for the starter is free. Anyone can clone it for $0. A Launch is when one of our people builds it out with you.

A Launch is $2,500 CAD, plus GST, paid once. It is two hours, live. If you want each of these, we set it up and test it with you:

  • Office hours that book themselves. We connect your Google or Microsoft calendar. We set the meeting types you hold, like a first chat with a founder. Then we make one real test booking.
  • A private portal. Founders or partners sign in with a code we email them. They see their meetings and the files you choose to share.
  • One contact list. Every pitch, booking and form becomes a contact. We bring in the founders and partners you already know.
  • Payments, only if you need them. Say you host a demo night with paid seats. The money goes to your own Stripe, PayPal or Square account. Most of the time, you can skip this one.

A chat box is there if you want it. It only answers from facts you approve. Leave it off if it does not fit your fund. This starter has no online store.

Edit it between meetings

Funds move. You close a new deal. A partner leaves. You open a new fund focus. After Launch, you change your site by telling it what you want, in plain English, like a text message.

Type "add our newest company to the portfolio page, with this logo and one line about it." Or type "change our thesis page to say we now look at climate tools in Western Canada." That way of building is called vibe coding. On the call, you make one real change like this while we are with you.

We also teach you the visual editor, for small fixes. Click on a word, change it, and it saves.

The fund owns it

Your site runs in your own Replit account. We charge $0 a month. Your host bills about $20 US a month for use. That is the host's bill, in US dollars. Our prices are in Canadian dollars. You own the code and can leave any time with a full copy.

We walk you through your own admin, so you can see where every pitch and booking lands. Your name, logo and colours go up. It works on a phone, since a founder may find you on the bus.
