Moving off WordPress
Leave WordPress. Bring everything with you.
Every Launch moves your whole WordPress site to a new site you own. Your pages, your store, your members, and the rest. Nothing is left out, and it does not cost extra.
What we move
All of it. Nothing is left out.
Every page and every blog post
Your pictures, videos, and files
Your old web addresses, each sending people to its new page, so links and search results keep working
Your forms
Your page titles and descriptions for search engines
Your online store: products, orders, and customers
Your member and user accounts
What your plugins do, built into your new site
How it works
Four steps, and we do the work.
Step 1
We copy everything
You give us access to your WordPress site. We copy all of it: pages, posts, pictures, files, your store, and your members. Your operator does this for you. It does not use up your two hours of live building.
Step 2
We rebuild it on a site you own
Your new site runs in your own account. What your plugins did is built into the new site, so there are no plugins to keep updated.
Step 3
We point your old links to the new pages
Each old web address sends people and search engines to its new page. Links in emails, on other sites, and in search results keep working.
Step 4
We test it with you on your Launch call
Together we open your old links, look over your pages, products, and members, send a test form, and sign in as a test member.
Price
The move is part of every Launch.
A Launch is $4,200 CAD plus GST, paid once. Moving your WordPress site is included. It does not cost extra.
The Launch also sets up the tools you want on one live call, like online booking and payments into your own account, and teaches you to change your site yourself in plain English.
Hosting: $0 a month to us. Your web host bills about $20 US a month. That is the host's bill, in US dollars. Our prices are in Canadian dollars.
Why move
Less to keep up to date.
- A WordPress site runs on add-ons called plugins. Each one comes from a different company, and each one needs updates.
- WordPress also runs on server software that needs security updates. Someone has to keep all of it up to date.
- On October 21, 2026, the team behind PHP, the software WordPress runs on, put out an urgent security fix. If you have a WordPress site, ask your web host if they have put it in.
- A site we build has no plugins to keep updated. It is code you own, in your own account.
FAQ
Questions people ask
Do I lose my Google rankings?
We set up a redirect for every old web address. A redirect sends people and search engines from the old page to its new page. So your links keep working, and search engines find your pages at their new addresses. No one can promise a ranking, but this is how you keep what you have built.
What about my online store and my members?
They come too. We move your products, your orders, and your customers. We move your member and user accounts. We test a member sign-in with you on the call.
What about my plugins?
Their features come with you. We build what each plugin does into your new site, and that is included in your Launch. Then you have no plugins to keep updated.
Who owns the site?
You do. You get a full copy of your code, and you own it. Your site runs in your own account, and you can sign in to it yourself. You can leave whenever you like.
Does the move cost extra?
No. Everything from your WordPress site is included in every Launch, even a big store. The Launch price is the same with or without it. The move does not use up your two hours of live building.
What if my site is not on WordPress?
Every Launch still brings over your current site's pages and your contact list. The full move on this page is for WordPress sites.
